Sunday Mass Readings for the 19th Sunday in Ordinary Time – Year B
First Reading – 1 Kings 19:4-8: God’s angel wakes Elijah and tells him to eat.
Responsorial Psalm – 34: 2-3, 4-5, 6-7, 8-9: “Taste and see the goodness of the Lord.”
Second Reading – Ephesians 4:30-5:2: Do not be bitter and angry, but kind and compassionate.
Gospel – John 6:41-51: Jesus declares He is the Bread of Life. “I am the living bread that came down from heaven; whoever eats this bread will live forever; and the bread that I will give is my flesh for the life of the world.”
