Sunday Mass Readings for the 18th Sunday in Ordinary Time – Year B

First Reading – Exodus 16:2-4, 12-15: God provides manna when the Israelites are starving and complaining.

Responsorial Psalm – 78:3-4, 23-24, 25, 54: declares “The Lord gave them bread from heaven.”

Second reading – Ephesians 4:17, 20-24: we are invited to be renewed and transformed.

Gospel – John 6:24-35: Jesus tells us not to work for the temporary things of this world but for the true bread of life.
